It is our mission to provide quality services to the entire community; therefore, we provide several investment options for our clients to ensure finances never get in the way of healing and growth.
Most providers with Davidson Family Therapy are in network with some of the following insurances:
Blue Cross & Blue Shield
If you have insurance through another provider, we are happy to provide you with out-of-network billing options. It is important for you to call your insurance company to check on benefits. If you have any questions or concerns, we are happy to help.
Below are some of the benefits to private pay:
Insurance companies require a diagnosis in order to pay for treatment. This hinders and stigmatizes the population of people who are just having trouble with normal life challenges, or a rough transition, such as grief. Davidson Family Therapy does not want to give you or your child a stigmatized diagnosis in order for you to receive therapeutic services.
Insurance companies also have access to any information if the therapist is audited. This means that confidentiality is not strictly between the client and therapist. With private pay, the client is reassured that any records of the therapists’ are secured and private.
The relationship between a client and therapist is sacred. Finding a therapist you connect with is vital to your growth. Many insurance companies give their customers a list of providers that are in network with their benefits. This does not give clients autonomy to see a therapist who may have been personally recommended to them, or with whom they feel connected to.
Private Pay Fees
These are rough estimates of what you can expect. Please note that each therapist has the right to set their own rate. For an exact amount, please speak with your therapist.
$120.00 - Initial Clinical Assessment
$100.00 - Individual Therapy (adult or adolescent)
$120.00 - Couples or Family Therapy
It is our aim to provide services for everyone in need; therefore, each therapist offers a sliding-scale on a case-by-case basis.
Davidson Family Therapy has a 24-hour cancellation policy. We ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend an appointment. In the event that you miss your appointment or notify us with less than 24 hours before your appointment, your therapist will charge you based on the agreed upon amount that your therapist has in their paperwork. Please be advised that the different therapists may have different fees, including cancellation fees. If an emergency occurs please contact your therapist via email or phone as soon as possible to ensure you are not charged the late cancellation or no-show fee.
