I work with both children and adults, supporting individuals and families as they navigate emotional, relational, and life challenges. My work is rooted in the understanding that childhood is foundational- so much of who we become is shaped by our early experiences, which influence how we connect, cope, and understand ourselves and others. Because of this, I am deeply committed to helping little ones build emotional awareness and resilience, while also supporting adolescents and adults as they work through anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I also believe meaningful change within a family system happens when caregivers feel supported and equipped, because it truly takes a village.

I work with children, adolescents and adults, offering both individual and parent counseling. I utilize research-based methods and take an integrative approach to my counseling orientation. I pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I strive to balance evidence-based practices with genuine human connection, tailoring each session to the developmental needs, strengths, and goals of the individual. Whether working with a child learning to regulate big emotions or an adult navigating anxiety, trauma, or life transitions, I aim to provide thoughtful, collaborative, and compassionate care.

As I work toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), I embrace the belief that play is the language of children. Through play, children communicate what they may not yet have words to express- it offers us a meaningful “peek” into their inner world. By entering that space with curiosity and care, I help children process experiences, develop coping skills, and strengthen their sense of self. I also incorporate creative expression and art into my work with both children and adults, recognizing that healing does not always happen through words alone.

I hold a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with specialization in Children and Adolescence from Northwestern University. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors (NCBLP).
