The greatest gift you can give someone is the space to be his or her authentic self.
— Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Therapy is more than just a place to talk, it’s a space to slow down, reflect, and discover new ways of being. I believe everyone deserves a supportive environment where they can feel safe to be themselves, explore what matters most, and grow toward a more fulfilling life.

I work with teens and adults (ages 11 and up), and I have a special passion for working with adolescents. I remember what it felt like to be a teenager with the uncertainty, the pressures, and the desire to find your own path. I find it deeply rewarding to help teens connect with their values, discover their strengths, and build confidence in who they are becoming.

I support clients through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, identity development, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, disordered eating, relationship struggles, and the unique pressures that athletes often face. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about your next step, my goal is to walk alongside you and help you feel supported in navigating life’s ups and downs.

My approach is person-centered and strength-based, meaning I meet you where you are and focus on building upon your existing skills, resilience, and inner wisdom. At the core of my practice is a commitment to validation and empathy where I strive to ensure that every client feels heard, understood, and respected.

At the same time, I incorporate evidence-based practices to provide practical tools for change. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking, as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to strengthen emotional regulation, mindfulness, and coping strategies. Together, these approaches create space for both acceptance and growth.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process where we’ll work as a team to identify your goals, explore what’s getting in the way, and create meaningful steps forward. My hope is that through our work together, you’ll not only find relief from challenges but also gain clarity, confidence, and a deeper connection to your authentic self.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A) in North Carolina and hold a master’s degree in social work from East Carolina University. I strive to bring a strong commitment to cultural competency and inclusivity to my practice. My goal is to provide a collaborative, compassionate space where clients feel empowered to navigate life’s challenges and grow into their best selves.

I am so glad you are here!
