Virtual Therapy
Bringing therapy to you!
No commute. No waiting room. Just you and your therapist, face-to-face through a secure, HIPPA-Compliant private video connection. Get the same care, comfort, and connection as in person, from wherever you feel most comfortable.
While Tele-Mental Health isn’t new, it has evolved significantly with advances in technology, offering a safe, convenient, and effective way to access therapy for many individuals and families.
How does Tele-Mental Health Therapy help?
Tele-Mental Health Therapy works much like traditional, in-person therapy, the only real difference is the setting. Sessions take place virtually through a secure video connection rather than in an office.
For many therapists and clients, Tele-Mental Health serves as a flexible “Plan B” option when in-person sessions aren’t possible—but it can also be a primary method of care. Most therapeutic approaches can be effectively delivered online, making it a great tool for treatment, ongoing support, or maintenance check-ins.
Common areas of focus include:
-Anger
-Anxiety
-Coping Strategies
-Depression
-Emotional Regulation
-Grief and Loss
-Relationships

What Does a Tele-Mental Health Session Look Like?
Tele-Mental Health sessions are simple, private, and designed to fit your life. You’ll meet with your therapist through a secure video link and simply click to join from your computer, tablet, or phone. Many platforms even include helpful tools like whiteboards or shared documents to make sessions more interactive.
Before your appointment, your therapist will send you a private link to join. Most platforms don’t require a login, just type in your name and you’re in. Sessions usually last about 50 minutes, similar to a traditional in-person visit.
To get the most out of your session:
Find a quiet, comfortable space where you can speak freely.
Use a device with a camera and a stable internet connection.
Sit somewhere with good lighting so your therapist can see you clearly.
If your internet connection isn’t reliable, your therapist may be able to offer a phone session instead.
Why choose Individual therapy?
Many people prefer in-person therapy, but Tele-Mental Health makes it possible for those who can’t easily attend face-to-face sessions to still get the care they need. Whether it’s due to physical or mental health challenges, transportation barriers, or safety concerns, virtual therapy offers a flexible and accessible way to stay connected and supported, no matter your situation.
